When DND acquired this 1900s two-house property in Reno's river heights district, it wasn't producing a dollar of rental income — the main space was being used as offices. A four-month full remodel took both homes down to their best selves, then our short-term rental design, staging, and furnishing put them to work. They've been earning ever since.

Another property that earned nothing before DND. A heavy cosmetic remodel — remodeled bathroom, new finishes throughout, and a backyard rebuilt from a damaged shell into a covered patio with string lights and turf — followed by our full short-term rental design and furnishing. Walking distance to Midtown and Downtown Reno, it has run at 84.9% occupancy since launch.

This building was abandoned when DND acquired it — no tenants, no income, rusted stairs and bare dirt. We took it through a full remodel planned as long-term rentals… then changed course. Before a single lease was signed, our short-term rental design and furnishing layer went in instead — and the same four units that would have rented as plain apartments became a top-performing STR building. Three separate homes share a single lot here — a two-bedroom, a one-bedroom and a studio — so the property works as three independent stays with shared outdoor amenities between them. DND took all three through a full remodel and layered in short-term rental design and furnishing throughout. The result is a small cluster that books as three distinct listings while being maintained as one property, with guests sharing the landscaped grounds and on-site amenities. Once a tired motor lodge, this Midtown Reno complex is now a clean, fully renovated property running as a mix of long-term and short-term homes. The owner brought us in to take four of the short-term units — a two-bedroom, a one-bedroom and two studios — and we handled the design, furnishing and day-to-day co-hosting for each, with one unit carrying its own in-suite washer and dryer and a shared laundry room serving the rest. We help keep the property guest-ready: common areas, amenities, and turning each unit for new occupancy as it comes available. An owner handed us the upper unit of this quiet Reno home near Virginia Lake and asked us to make it perform. Working to the owner's budget, we redesigned and furnished the two-bedroom top-floor flat — a bold mountain-toile feature wall, a lounge around the original brick fireplace, two queen bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen — then took over the listing and day-to-day co-hosting.
