When DND acquired this 1900s two-house property in Reno's river heights district, it wasn't producing a dollar of rental income — the main space was being used as offices. A four-month full remodel took both homes down to their best selves, then our short-term rental design, staging, and furnishing put them to work. They've been earning ever since.

A heavy cosmetic remodel — remodeled bathroom, new finishes throughout, and a backyard rebuilt from a damaged shell into a covered patio with string lights and turf — followed by our full short-term rental design and furnishing. Walking distance to Midtown and Downtown Reno, it has run at 84.9% occupancy since launch.

This building was abandoned when DND acquired it — no tenants, no income, rusted stairs and bare dirt. We took it through a full remodel planned as long-term rentals… then changed course. Before a single lease was signed, our short-term rental design and furnishing layer went in instead — and the same four units that would have rented as plain apartments became a top-performing STR building.
